Thursday, on my way home, one of the first thunderstorms of Chicago’s 2010 season started spurting fat, globby raindrops, then about 2 minutes of pea and ‘sub-pea’ sized hail.
I cannot recall seeing hail as early as the tenth of March ever before in Chicago-land. I will have to check the record books!
