A very long 10-day chase. Lisa did much of the 4,300 miles driving, covering 8 states: IL,IA,SD,ND,KS,OK,TX,CO. A new first: having a shear marker centered on our GPS position, waiting out 70+ mile-an-hour straigtline winds.

2 tornadoes at Patricia, TX and another at Mertzton, TX in early May.

Started a new job, so no vacation. Did some solo chases & local severe weather spotting for LOT

Three weeks chasing with Bill Reid & Scott Weberpal. Saw 6 tornadoes in 2 hours at Limon, CO.

What a treat to be in Tornado Alley during a historic tornado outbreak (380+ reported from May 4-10)! Saw tornadoes near Yates Center, KS , Oklahoma City (at night) and Joplin, MO.

An early May barrage, including the Happy, TX F2 and Greensburg/Pratt, KS storms

Added a dedicated chase vehicle, but few storms around Chicago. Late May chasing in OK/TX/KS yields a night tornado near Perryton, OK and a near miss of the White Deer, TX tornado.

A cancelled tour and a calm year for the most part (for Lisa, anyhow): one good storm at Venango, NE and no partner for the Spencer, SD storm (though Lisa was nearby).
